Why measure your foot length?

Due to manufacturing variance, not all pairs of footwear are perfectly the same length and the length can vary, even though they have the same size number on them.

Also, just because you are normally a certain size in your regular sliders or shoes does not necessarily mean that you will be the same size at Shoes Etc!

If you are a new Shoes Etc customer, an accurate measurement your foot length is by far the best way to get the correct size.

By checking the size chart with an accurate measurement of your foot length, our warehouse team will dispatch footwear which will be best suited to the length of your foot. When we have an accurate measurement of your foot length, you almost always get the size perfect!

If you do not check the size chart with an accurate measurement of your foot length and you only pick and choose with your normal size, then we will simply send you a footwear that is a ‘true / correct’ length in that size as per the footwear’s size conversion chart.

How to measure your foot:

Shoes Etc Why it is important to measure your foot length?

Place your foot on a flat surface with your heel against a straight edge. Place a ruler beside your foot touching the straight edge your heel is also touching, then take the length in centimetres from the tip of your longest toe to your heel. Please be aware that your longest toe may not always be your big toe.

Please be warned, by not checking the size chart with an accurate measurement of your foot length and just relying on the size number, you risk getting a pair of footwear that are not the correct length for your foot and you may have to exchange them…and no one wants that!
